Milling
High-Precision CNC Milling
Milling is a subtractive machining process used to shape complex geometries, shoulders, and holes on metal or plastic components. Unlike turning, where the part rotates, milling involves rotary motion of the cutting tool, offering great control over intricate details. We operate CNC machining centers for high-precision milling, adjusting speed and cutting depth automatically. Our services include the production of custom technical parts in small to medium batches for industrial clients in Italy and abroad.
How Milling Works
Milling is a chip-removal process that uses rotating tools to machine metal or plastic components, shaping features like shoulders, grooves, and holes with high precision. It involves two main stages: – Roughing, to quickly remove excess material and define the rough shape. – Finishing, to meet the exact dimensions and tolerances specified in the technical drawings. Our CNC machines automatically adjust cutting speed and feed rate, ensuring top-tier precision for every part.
